Dark Stories of Brežice
Take a walk through the old town center of Brežice with a local guide and see the town in a different light. The guide will present the dark moments of our past, linked to the buildings and monuments in our town.
Program:
- The tour will lead you through the park, along Stara pravda Street, past the Water Tower to the Monument of Rebellion and Revolution.
- Next, the walk continues back to the old town center to the Town Hall, the Parish Church of St. Lawrence, and further down the street to the former National and German House.
- After passing through the Exiles' Square, there will be a stop at the former Franciscan Monastery (now Brežice Gymnasium) and the tour will conclude at the Victory Monument of 1991.
