Jovsi Natural Park

ovsi is a 460-hectare large natural plain consisting of wetlands along the Sotla river, near the Kapelske Gorice Hills. Jovsi is a 460-hectares of meadows along the river Sotla by the Kapelske Gorice hills. These wetlands are protected within the nature protection area Natura 2000. Thanks to the favourable environmental conditions found there, it is home to many rare and endangered plant and animal species. In this nature park there is a renovated observation tower for all nature lovers. In the village of Kapele, located between Brežice and Bizeljsko, there is an information room with posters and films about the Jovsi park. Visitors can also listen to lectures on the park there. In Kapele there is also an electric vehicle charging station.
