At the homestead in Artiče, visitors can see a renovated house, an outbuilding, a pigpen with a kitchen, a vineyard cottage with a vineyard, a beehive, a corn-stack, a drying room for fruit, an orchard with old sorts of fruit and a renovated pond. The Artiče homestead is one of the oldest in this village that has preserved its original shape. It was built or renovated around 1780, while some of the oak logs date back to approximately 1450.

Adventure Farmhouse programmes with workshops, demonstrations and social evenings throughout the summer

Ban's homestead will be open from July to September 2023, every Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm and every Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon.

During the opening, public guided tours of the homestead and the museum's collection on the history of fruit growing in Artiče will be provided, there will be demonstrations on drying fruit and herbs, workshops on baking apple strudel, baking honey products, baking bread, handicraft workshops, and you will be able to take part in fruit-growing and farm chores. The events at the farm will be enlivened with song and dance. You will also have the opportunity to taste the local offer of homemade products.
