Jan Volčanšek, a tuba student at the Amsterdam University of the Arts, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, will be performing a solo recital accompanied by pianist Rebeka Dobravec, a student at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. The program will feature a wide range of solo tuba compositions spanning from the Baroque to contemporary music, appealing to both connoisseurs and music enthusiasts alike. This recital offers an opportunity to experience the tuba not only as part of an orchestra but also as a solo instrument capable of executing virtuosic pieces. Jan began his musical journey at the Krško Music School and looks forward to performing for his local audience.
