When Mrs. Novak joins the team of professors at an elite international boarding school, no one suspects that events could take a dark turn. She is supposed to teach the students about mindful eating, but her principles become extreme. By persuading them that the key to health is to eat as little as possible, she exerts an almost cult-like influence on her five young pupils, gradually alienating them even from their own parents.
