At the top of the village of Brezovica na Bizeljskem, hidden beneath the surface, lies one of the most astonishing underground shelters – Repnica Najger. What once began as a small hole for storing winter provisions has grown into one of the largest and most beautiful sand cellars, inviting you in with the scent of wine and the secrets of an old craft.

Upon entering the central tasting room, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking sight – a natural fresco, a masterpiece of nature and human hands, where, with a touch of imagination, you can see images drawn in sand by the passage of time. With a glass of local varietal wine, you’ll taste the soul of this land, while the friendly hostess serves homemade specialties. The bottle cellar holds carefully selected wines, patiently waiting to be discovered.
