Path of Wine and Sun – Sromlje Hiking Trail

The Sromlje Hiking Trail invites you to explore the scenic hills with some of the most beautiful wine-growing slopes, appreciated since ancient times. It is no coincidence that in the past, these lands were cultivated by local landowners, wealthy foreigners, and the noble Attems family.

Hikers gather between 9:00 and 10:00 at Silovec, in front of the Okrepčevalnica Riba in pol.

The trail leads through the charming hills and valleys of the Sromlje Local Community, passing by vineyards, orchards, and farms. It connects six villages: Sromlje, Silovec, Curnovec, Volčje, Oklukova Gora, and Zgornja Pohanca.

The total length of the trail is 15 km; it is easy to walk and well-marked. Along the way, there will be five rest stops with refreshments.

After the hike, join us for socializing and goulash at the Community Hall in Sromlje.

Entry fee: €17 (includes a glass with inscription, food and drinks at all stops, and goulash)
Children up to 12 years old: free of charge
