During the festival week, concerts, hikes, guided tours, historical programmes, and culinary experiences will take place at various locations across Posavje.
As part of the Castles of Posavje Festival, we will set off along a section of the circular Cistercian Trail, stopping at selected points to listen to stories spanning a thousand years that have shaped this landscape.
The circular Cistercian Trail forms part of the more than 6,300-kilometre-long international hiking route of the Cisterscape project, which connects monastic landscapes in six European countries and holds the European Heritage Label.
The hike is of moderate difficulty and will last approximately three hours. More information about the entire trail can be found at the provided link.
