During the festival week, concerts, hikes, guided tours, historical programmes, and culinary experiences will take place at various locations across Posavje.
On Tuesday, April 14, we invite you to take a closer look and learn about the story of one of the most beautiful and best-preserved Slovenian castles – Mokrice Castle.
Upon arrival, Countess Barbara will welcome you with an aperitif of the castle's sparkling wine and introduce you to the history of the castle and take you through the secret corners of one of the best-preserved castles in our country. This will be followed by a presentation day of golf on the 18-hole course of this breathtaking golf venue.
We will also prepare a mini culinary journey for you through the flavors of the castle's Restaurant 1444, which impresses with its seasonal, local and modern dishes inspired by traditional local recipes. You will be able to pamper your taste buds with a duet of castle pâtés, ravioli with porcini mushrooms and aged cheese cream, and a surprise castle dessert.
