You are invited to join the autumn hikes organised by volunteer associations across the Posavje region.
The autumn edition of the Posavje Hiking Festival, taking place from 20 September to 30 November 2025, will once again bring together lovers of nature, outdoor activities, and local heritage. The festival connects numerous hiking clubs, tourist organisations, and local communities across the Posavje region, offering a rich programme of guided hikes through diverse natural and cultural landscapes.
The hikes are thematically designed and led by experienced local guides. Participants will have the opportunity to explore fruit-growing trails, historical routes, wine-growing areas, and hidden corners of cultural heritage.
In the Municipality of Brežice, several attractive hikes will take place – including the Brežiška Četa Trail, the Wine and Sun Trail in Sromlje, as well as hikes in Pišece, Artiče, and other lesser-known yet picturesque paths.
To make the experience complete, take the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway. In Brežice and its surroundings, welcoming hotels, guesthouses, apartments, and tourist farms await, offering comfortable rooms, homely hospitality, and a genuine connection with the environment.
