On the Labor Day holiday, May 1st, 2024, you are invited to awaken in the old town center at 7:00 AM to the sounds of the Traditional reveille with the KD Pihalni orkester Loče (Wind Orchestra Loče). You can continue your day with the Barefoot Hike to St. Vid with Lojze Ogorevc and experience the Traditional gathering at St. Vid, organized by PGD Sobenja vas, the Municipality of Brežice, and KD Gasilski pihalni orkester Kapele (Firefighters' Brass Band Kapele).
You can participate in the Barefoot Hike to St. Vid with Lojze Ogorevc. Experience a guided hike along a forest path to a scenic platform near the church of St. Vid with views stretching far and wide. The trail is not challenging and is suitable for families with young children. Barefoot walking has beneficial effects on headaches, fungal inflammations, corrects posture, boosts the immune system, and contributes to overall well-being. Of course, you can also go hiking wearing shoes; the essential thing is to do something good for your health.

On Thursday, May 2nd, at 4:00 PM, you are invited to explore the old town center of Brežice with a local guide on the Love Path tour, including a visit to the Water Tower. The tour concludes at the top of the 46-meter-high Water Tower, offering panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes a guided tour of the city and the Water Tower.
