Certificate Award Ceremony and Meeting of Brežice Selection Providers

Yesterday, the wine cellar of the Posavje Museum Brežice hosted the awarding of certificates of the Brežice Selected Territorial Collective Brand and a meeting of providers who help shape the story of local quality in the Brežice destination.

Yesterday, the award ceremony for the Territorial Collective Brand Brežice Selection certificates and a meeting of providers who help shape the story of local quality in the Brežice destination took place in the wine cellar of the Posavje Museum Brežice.

The event brought together providers whose products and services represent authenticity, nature, and homemade quality. The brand is managed and owned by the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Youth Brežice, and it has been established according to the Izvorno Slovensko model, which connects territorial collective brands across Slovenia.

Today, the brand already brings together 38 providers and 155 certified products and services, confirming its successful development and the trust of providers, as well as representing the result of ten years of work by the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Youth Brežice in connecting local offerings.

The event was opened with welcoming and encouraging words by Katja Čanžar, Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Youth Brežice. The participants were also addressed by Ilona Stermecki from the Academy Izvorno Slovensko, while the Mayor of the Municipality of Brežice, Ivan Molan, congratulated the certificate recipients and emphasized that ZPTM Brežice has justified the trust placed in it by developing the territorial collective brand Brežice Izbrano and successfully connecting local providers into a recognizable story of quality.

The program also included a presentation of the correct branding system for products, with examples of good practices, as well as the new Brežice Selection brand catalogue. The event was enriched with musical performances by two local creators who are also part of the brand: Rok Ferenčak, included in the brand through the provider Čebelarstvo Ferenčak, and Adrijana Jelen, a singer who is part of the brand as a craftswoman under the name Atelier Orion.

Certificates for successfully passing the latest evaluation were awarded to: Tourist Farm Pri Martinovih, Gostilna Pension Les, Kmetija Mladkovič, Kmetija Aleš Balon, Vina Mihael, Vina Pinterič, Čebelarstvo Ogorevc, Winery Mihelin, Kmetija Volovec, Atelier Orion, Tinker Joy, Angel&R, and Rogovila.

The event was also intended as a networking opportunity for all 38 providers included in the brand. The catering was prepared by Chef Jure Tomić from Ošterija Debeluh, who last year accepted an honorary role and became the ambassador of the Territorial Collective Brand Brežice Izbrano.

Such gatherings play an important role in connecting providers, exchanging knowledge, and jointly promoting local stories, thereby contributing to the further development of the Brežice destination.
