Late summer and autumn in Posavje each year mark the beginning of a series of culinary and wine events under the umbrella brand Okusi Posavja (Taste Posavje), which was registered and protected in 2020 at the initiative of local restaurateurs and other providers of regional ingredients, cuisine, and wine.
Taste Posavje have grown steadily—step by step, from smaller successes to bigger breakthroughs. Today, the brand unites 23 providers from the Posavje region who together create top-class gastronomic experiences, coordinated and supported by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Tourism Krško.
You are invited to discover Posavje: where the winemaker greets you in the wine cellar, where local ingredients take center stage on the plate, where visiting a pub also opens the door to the brewery, and where hospitality and genuine connection are still alive! Only the best ingredients, fine wines, and excellent hosts will once again mark the tastiest months in Posavje. The series of events CELEBRATING TASTE POSAVJE 2025 (21 August – 3 November 2025) offers wine and culinary experiences at various providers across Posavje, as well as a joint event in the old town of Krško – the Taste Posavje Street Festival (5 September 2025 at 17:00). Around ten providers of cuisine, wine, and beer will treat guests to a unique experience. The Street Festival is a perfect opportunity for socialising, tasting, or even inviting your business partners to discover the Taste Posavje in one place, while also enjoying a chance for networking.
