Carnival is a time of laughter, fun, and unforgettable entertainment. This year, the Municipality of Brežice will once again host a variety of carnival events that will bring joy to both children and adults. From traditional carnival parades to wild parties in the carnival hall, the program promises to be lively and unforgettable.
Fašjenk Dobova 2025 – 27th International Carnival
The organizers, TD Dobova and the Fašjenk section, have prepared a rich program:
Friday, February 28, 2025 – in front of the Municipality of Brežice
- 12:00 Arrival of the Fašjenk delegation with the mayor
- Performance by the Kosci and Prutarji
- Traditional takeover of power at the Municipality of Brežice
- Arrival of the Kurenti from Hajdina
Saturday, March 1, 2025 – Dobova
- 20:00 Grand carnival party in the carnival hall
- Disco party – DJ Sandi

- 07:00 Ločki Kosci and Orači (Loče)
- 12:00 Carnival wedding (Loče)
- 16:00 Obrški Prutarji (Veliki Obrež)
- 17:00 Children's carnival celebration (Dobova Hall)
Saturday, March 8, 2025 – Loče-Dobova
- 12:00 Registration of groups, delicacies from the Rural Women’s Association, and drinks (Loče)
- 13:00 Formation of the 27th International Carnival Parade (Loče)
- 14:00 Handover of the municipal key to the current mayor and presentation of groups in front of the main stage at the playground (Dobova)
- 16:00 Grand carnival celebration in the carnival hall with Ansambel Bratov Žerjav
Children’s Carnival Parade and Celebration at MC Brežice
All children and families, get your costumes ready and join the Children’s Carnival Parade and Celebration on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
When?
- 15:45 – Gathering of masked participants at the parking lot in front of Vrtec Mavrica
- 16:00 – Departure of the parade through the streets of Brežice
- 17:00 – Conclusion at Mladinski Center Brežice, followed by a carnival celebration with Pravljična Frtina and a sweet treat with doughnuts
All children in costumes, along with their families, are invited to create an unforgettable carnival atmosphere. A fun-filled program awaits with dance, music, and games.

Bonaparty Band is a group synonymous with fun, dance, and an authentic party atmosphere. If you love hits from the seventies, eighties, or unforgettable Ex-Yu classics, this is an evening you simply cannot miss. The band, featuring experienced musicians and two outstanding vocalists, will transform even disco hits into a true concert spectacle.
