Ferry on the Sava river

The rafting tradition in the Municipality of Brežice is 130 years old. If you visit Brežice, a ride on a ferry boat on the Sava River will give your stay some added value! Guests are transported over the Sava River from the Terme Čatež spa to the village of Mostec and back. Groups can arrange in advance for snacks to be served and the rafters are happy to tell them more about the history of rafting. Once over the Sava, you can visit the village of Mostec, a friendly and cosy place, with several restaurants and the church of St. Fabien and Sebastian. The raft travels over the Sava river daily – if the water-level is appropriate.
