The Vinska Trta apartments are located in the village of Ribnica, between the Terme Čatež spa and the Mokrice Castle. There are two apartments, one for four people and another one for seven. In each apartment there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room. In the garden there is an outdoor grill. A parking lot, Wi-Fi and satellite TV are offered free of charge. Pets are welcome and local inns and restaurants offer discounts for the guests of the appartments.

The Cottage is an excellent starting point for a hike to the Vesela Micka shelter in Veliki Cirnik, if you are a fan of undemanding walking paths. There you have some wonderful views of Croatia (Zagreb and Samoborsko Gorje), and Krško polje and the Brežice accumulation lake – “The Brežice Sea”, which with its two banks, the “Styrian” and “Carniolan” sides, offers a wonderful landscaped path, suitable for walking, running or cycling.
The Cottage is also just seven kilometres south-east of the popular Terme Čatež, on the right bank of the Sava River in a small village, not far from the historic Mokrice Castle, surrounded by a 200-year-old English park and golf course.
In addition to thermal fun, you can visit the second longest Slovenian river, the Krka. It’s the longest tributary of the Sava River in Brežice. The near city of Kostanjevica na Krki, so-called “Slovenian Venice”, is actually surrounded by the river Krka.
Posavje unites several municipalities and there is certainly something for everyone in the entire offer, as well as for demanding gourmets, or foodies.
However, if you decide not to move the car out of the parking space, you can prepare a delicious meal on the outdoor grill while the children enjoy the spacious and beautiful landscaped garden.
