At the time of its creation, the city was booming, and this is what its exterior appearance suggests. It is a late Baroque building with a prominent central axis, defined on the ground floor by a large stone portal with the city and the year 1769. On the first floor there is an attractive small balcony with a baroque belly balustrade and simple door. The building also has an architecturally interesting roof extension with a triangular gable and a painted clock in the centre. The Brežice Town Hall is also referred to as the Magistrate’s Court in the sources. From the end of the Second World War until the the turn of the millennium there was musician school, and today it houses the ZPTM Brežice with a central point for tourist. It has a central information point, a multimedia room suitable for seminars, and a range of local shop with wines and other products. Nearby are two electric car charging stations.
