From the home of the Babič family, visitors will have a great view of the valley below and the village of Bizeljsko with its church of St. Laurence on a small hill, as well as the vineyard hills surrounding it. In the cellar of the family’s home, there is a unique collection of the so-called majolica wine jugs.
Over 2000 different and interesting majolica items prove their popularity with different nations as they come from all over the world. Owner and collector of the collection will vividly present and describe their source and peculiarities.
The basement of the house of Babič family in Bukovje na Bizeljskem, with a beautiful view of the valley with the centre of Bizeljsko and the Church of St. Lawrence on a knoll and winegrowing hills around, holds a unique majolica collection.
From the smallest item, holding only a centilitre, to gigantic ones; from the simplest in form, known across Slovenia, to an example of three-piece majolica.
