The Church of Mary Magdalene in the village of Orešje, first mentioned in 1545, dates back to 1653 and is known for its historical architecture and the annual celebration on the patron saint's feast day, July 22nd.

The Church of Mary Magdalene, located in the village of Orešje, is believed to be very old, although written records first mention it in 1545.

The current church building dates back to 1653, as indicated by the date on the foundation wall. One of the bells was cast in 1696. In 1842, the church was enlarged, and the nave was newly vaulted. Between 1895 and 1900, a bell tower was added, and the church was decorated with paintings. The original main altar from 1665 was restored in 1902. Both side altars date from the second half of the 18th century. There is also a cemetery next to the church.

Services at the branch church of St. Mary Magdalene are held every Sunday, with a major celebration on the feast day of the patron saint, July 22nd.
