    The Merkež Pension is located in Brezovica in the Bizeljsko region, 16 kilometres from Brežice. It stands at the location of a former old farmhouse and has preserved its outer appearance. Guests are accommodated in four rustically equipped rooms and can choose between bed and breakfast, half board and full board service. Rooms are named after grape varieties.

    Ana’s apartment can take 4 persons and is a tribute to the former housewife. It is equipped with the furniture from her dowry. Guests who are staying or have reservations (up to 50 persons) are spoilt with dishes from grandmother’s cookbook and homemade Bizeljčan wine, served under the arches of the wine cellar. A light walk to the root cellar standing amid the vineyards opens a beautiful view of Bizeljsko and the valley of the Sotla River.
