ArraySustainability Report – Destination Brežice for years 2022-2023
We present to you an overview of the sustainable development activities we implemented in 2022-2023.
In May 2019, the destination was awarded the Slovenia Green Destination Silver label, which it successfully upgraded in 2022 and 2025 by achieving the prestigious Slovenia Green Destination Platinum title. This represents the highest level of excellence in meeting internationally recognized sustainability standards.

We often hear that sustainable development is the only path to a successful future. This is especially true for transport, which is one of the main sources of air pollution and climate change. The pursuit of a sustainable society and mobility is also the fundamental goal of the EU’s Sustainable Mobility Regulation, which aims for a low-carbon society. We in the Municipality of Brežice are well aware of this. Lately, we have been making persistent efforts to increase sustainable mobility and improve transport connectivity between local towns.

ArrayEuropean Mobility Week
For the 14th year in a row, the Municipality of Brežice will organize activities as part of European Mobility Week. This year’s project is financially supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of the Environment. Together with local associations, public institutions, and businesses, we will once again prepare activities for all age groups.
