This time, we’ll explore the Sava on bikes!
Join us for a guided cycling experience along the Sava River, where we will explore the river, its surroundings, and interesting spots along the way at a relaxed pace. The cycling tour is designed as a pleasant outdoor activity for everyone who enjoys movement, fresh air, and a different view of the Sava area. The experience takes place as part of the The Sava River Connects event.
A cycling guide will ensure a safe and enjoyable route, and the experience also includes free e-bike rental.
The cycling route will start at TIC Čatež ob Savi, from where participants will head towards the Sava River. Subject to suitable water levels, a special experience will follow — crossing the Sava by ferry. The route will then continue towards Brežice, along the reservoir lake, and finish in the Brežice Hydroelectric Power Plant Park. After the guided cycling experience, participants can join the varied programme in the park. Rented bikes can be returned independently to TIC Čatež ob Savi by 4.00 p.m.
