Summer experiences ’25

Get ready for an exciting summer in Brežice! We have prepared a diverse range of activities for you and your family, combining authentic flavors, local stories and active leisure activities. Choose from cycling tours, guided tours, museum tours, local wine and sparkling wine tastings or farm experiences.

The following experiences are available:

1. Family experiences and farm visits

• Alpaca ranch Pepito and friends
  An experience for family and children, with a walk and socializing with animals.
• Honey experience at the Volovec farm
  A tour of a traditional Slovenian apiary, tasting of cream honey and other products and a workshop.
• The Martinovi Farm
  A family experience with goat feeding, a vintage tractor ride, donkey riding and dinner.
• Ban's Homestead in Artiče
  Visit a thatched-roof house and learn about the rich history of fruit growing and rural life.

2. Guided tours and museum visits

• On the Path of Love in Brežice
  A guided tour of the old town center, which reveals the different sides of love through stories.
• Mokrice Stories
  A tour of the castle courtyard and park of Mokrice Castle with stories and legends that have marked this picturesque environment.
• Where the Sun Rises Over Slovenia - Čatež
  A walk through Čatež ob Sava and stories and legends about the place.
• Hill of Songs and Wisdom - Bizeljsko
  An experience in Bizeljsko with a view from the Hill of Songs and Wisdom.
• Posavje Museum Brežice and Water Tower Brežice
