KONTRADIKSHN

The band is well seasoned on both domestic and, above all, international stages. Between 2015 and 2025, they performed more than 130 concerts in 13 countries and released three albums and one EP. They have built up extensive club experience across Slovenia and the wider region, and have appeared at prominent venues and festivals such as Omladina Fest (Subotica), Povaleč Festival (Czech Republic), Regius Festival (Šibenik), MENT (Ljubljana), Mladifest (Sežana), Tvornica kulture (Zagreb), MKC (Skopje), Pozitivni Festival (Niš), and SARS Festival (Sinj).

In March 2025, the album Intro was released—their first album in Slovenian and at the same time their most personal work to date. The record cuts into the contemporary state of mind, social rifts, and inner struggles, while preserving Kontradikshn’s signature dynamics.

For more than a decade, Kontradikshn have been marking important milestones.

• In 2013, they took second place among more than 400 bands at the regional Demofest in Banja Luka.
• In 2015, they were selected among the top five new Slovenian acts by MENT Ljubljana and performed at the
• InMusicMENT event at the legendary Palach club in Rijeka.
• In 2017, they completed a 13-day tour with eleven concerts across Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary.
• In 2019, they sold out Orto Bar at MENT Ljubljana.
• In 2023, they released the album Ahead of Ourselves and presented it at a sold-out show at Kino Šiška.
• In 2024, they broke new ground as the first band to perform with a full symphony orchestra on the Val 202 show Izštekani, signed with the NIKA label, released three Slovenian singles, and played fourteen concerts as part of a three-month club tour. Their first Slovenian single, Vesolje posodil kolegu, was named Val 202’s Song of the Week.
• In 2025, the single Večna was selected as Val 202’s Song of the Week. The album Intro was released, followed by a sold-out promotional concert at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana.
