On the eve of World Teachers’ Day, the Posavje Museum Brežice will host its fifth classical evening with museum donor and history and geography teacher Robert Šupe.
Together with his guest, Saška Cimperman, a Slovenian and French teacher, he will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of academician Dr Jože Toporišič, who was born on 11 October 1926 in Mostec. Their discussion will explore the Slovenian language as an important part of cultural heritage and consider the challenges and opportunities arising from contemporary social change.
Students from Novo Mesto Grammar School will provide the musical programme, while Vino Graben Šekoranja from Brezovica na Bizeljskem will present its wines.
