The Brežice City Promenade offers a rich and diverse programme that blends music, dance, children’s activities, and cuisine. Various venues host concerts, dance performances, workshops for the little ones, and evenings that invite you to socialise over good food and drink. Every visitor can create their own evening and find their own rhythm of experience.
Sustainable event
The City Promenade follows the principles of zero-waste events. By reducing waste, using returnable packaging and encouraging responsible behaviour from visitors, it proves that even a larger event can be environmentally friendly.
In 2025, based on measurements and an assessment by the Institute for Waste Management, it was awarded the title of a ‘Zero Waste Event in Progress’ with one star. This confirms the successful implementation of measures to reduce waste, the use of returnable glasses and a high level of separate waste collection (as much as 97.3% and only 0.04 kg of waste per visitor).
Events are free of charge
All events are free of charge, which means that the Brežice City Promenade is accessible to everyone. Locals, visitors, families, young and old co-create the pulse of the town together for two weeks.
The City Promenade significantly contributes to the visibility of Brežice as a cultural and tourist destination.
